COURSE STRUCTURE DETAILS
 RHS Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of Garden Planning, Establishment and Maintenance. R2111,12,13 & 14 (Wednesday Evening)
&
RHS Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of Plant Growth, Propagation and Development. R2101,02,03 & 04 (Tuesday Evening)

Qualification structure for each Certificate:

Certificate in the 'Principles of Garden Planning, Establishment and Maintenance’ consists of 4 mandatory units:
  • Understanding garden features, plant selection and planning
  • Understanding the choice, establishment and maintenance of garden plants and lawns
  • Understanding the production of outdoor vegetables and fruits
  • Understanding protected environments and their use in plant cultivation

Certificate in the Principles of Plant Growth, Propagation and Development, consists of 4 mandatory units:

  • Plant classification, structure and function
  • Plant nutrition and the root environment
  • Maintaining plant health
  • Understanding plant propagation
These courses will suit anyone interested in planning, designing and maintaining their own or clients' gardens and could lead to job opportunities within the horticultural industry as an employee or help in starting up your own business.

Fees:
£580.00 plus exam fees of £68.00.
To secure your place, we would require a deposit of intent of £100.00 deducted from the final invoice, which would be required in full prior to the course start date.
